We designed these ramps because we have noticed skate boarders, bikers and roller bladers taking dangerous risks to launch themselves into the air.

We decided that ramps built of old bits of plywood, dangerously thin plastic manufactured ramps, public parks, car parks, curb driveway openings and the like were not as reliable and safety concious as a sturdy, fiberglass launch ramp that we could make.

We tested a variety of styles and specifications hand in hand with a kids' center and tested what worked and what did not. Our ramps are a result of "kid testing".

We wanted them to be strong, smooth with no sharp corners. They needed to be stackable and not move around when skate wheels passed over the base lip. A range of neat colors makes it more fun than faded wood.

Jumping is dangerous enough as a sport without adding the hazards of weak ramps that can collapse, wood that can hurt with splinters or naturally occuring substitute ramps that can create a danger for pedestrians. (Please read our disclaimer).
